Conero Food is the result of an ambitious project by six partners who share an indissoluble bond with the sea, a strong passion for good food and the constant search for quality.
Thanks to the natural features of the sea area surrounding Monte Conero (Ancona, Marche Region), our company has gained decades of experience in mussel farming and clam fishing. During such time, we have been improving our business by following certified environmentally friendly procedures.
The municipalities of Numana and Sirolo have been awarded with 19 and 27 consecutive Blue Flags, respectively. Since such “category A” sea areas account for the highest quality level, they are subject to constant monitoring. The excellent quality of the sea together with the controlled supply chain provide our products with extremely high organoleptic and nutritional properties.
Hence, we decided to use our finest raw materials for the production of high quality sauces that will satisfy the most demanding palates. Specifically, after a selection and cleaning process, our fresh mussels and clams are promptly sent to a small business in the Marche hinterland with over 40 years of experience in food industry. Then, our raw materials undergo food processing in the least possible time for the preparation of high-quality, ready-made sauces.
Our goal is to offer healthy products with a genuine taste and an intense flavour by using only the best ingredients. As mussels and clams represent two cornerstones of the local cooking culture, we aim to celebrate them nationally and internationally and become a reference brand for high-quality, ready-made Italian sauces.
